a new model is born at the temple

while over in bali hanging and working at the temple a new little creation was born, with a bit more wave size and some all round versatility in mind the tugu is the result.  a smooth gradual rocker, a blended subtle nose concave, a ever so slight hint of roll to a soft panel vee in the tail, a 60/40 rail throughout means some hold and some turn this board was and is all about finding a balance.  a double ender of sorts this guy works in anything from knee high to double over head.

thanks to the deus temple for everything, bali for the waves, harry for some inspo. now its time to make me one of these for home.

Back to the old grind as of tomorrow. Had an incredibly frothed out time in Bali with a bunch friends, new and old. And dayz of waves, feeling rejuvenated after trrrroppical times! Horay!!

 was lucky enough to get the chance to make a couple of boards for this guy while we were in bali, arguably Indonesia's best logger, deus have just picked him up as there new team rider and enlisted us to build him a couple of longboards, one hell of a good surfer with smooth as style and steez to boot.  thanks for the connection go to the temple crew and anthony 'grasshopper' dodd for the photos stolen from the temple blog.

just visited the guys at the factory in japan and had a little tour of the setup and got the run down of what goes into making the finest wetsuits around.  also went through the ropes on measuring up for custom suits.  the first shipment has near but all gone but there still a couple left on the shelf, and some more on there way including a few long arm springs for the cold thats coming. got some real smooth colours in girls jackets in at the minute.

just went to japan for a week to hang out with good friends from tcss, had a blast, meet some rad folks, caught up with some good friends, saw some lives tunes and dranks a whole lot of beer.
